Your ticket to knowledge

Your ticket to knowledge. AI-powered microlearning paths on any topic, at any complexity level.

Learning Whistle generates personalised learning journeys — we call them paths — tailored to your chosen topic and complexity level. Each path contains 15 stations with AI-written content and quizzes. Pass quizzes to earn Miles and progress through your learning rank.

The Company

Learning Whistle is an education technology company founded in 2026 and based in Ohio, USA, operated by Learning Whistle LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. We build AI-powered microlearning for self-directed learners, educators, and lifelong students. Our focus is structured, rigorous learning on any topic — complete learning paths with cited sources, reading-level control, and quizzes, rather than unstructured chat.

The problem we solve: general AI chatbots answer questions, but they do not teach. There is no curriculum, no sequencing, no reading level you control, no check that you actually learned anything, and no citation trail back to a real source. Meanwhile structured online courses are long, expensive, and fixed at one difficulty. Learners who want a rigorous, sequenced introduction to a specific topic — in minutes rather than weeks, at their own reading level — are left choosing between the two.

Who we build for: self-directed adult learners and curious professionals exploring topics outside their field; students and homeschool families who need material at a specific grade level; and educators looking for structured, source-cited material to adapt. Reading level is selectable from Grade 3 through Grade 12, so the same topic can be taught to a ten-year-old or a graduate student.

Over 1,600 learning paths across 20 academic categories are published and free to browse today.

Business model: a standard tier with limited daily access at no cost, and a subscription tier with expanded access and premium AI-generated learning paths.

How Paths Are Built

Every Learning Whistle path follows a structured 5-phase curriculum framework:

Foundation
Context and motivation
Core Concepts
Foundational principles
Mechanics
How it works in detail
Application
Real-world use
Synthesis
Integration and reflection

Every station is individually generated at the reading level you set — from Grade 3 to Grade 12 on the Standard tier. Content complexity is calibrated using Flesch-Kincaid grade targets, with per-dial sentence length, vocabulary, and syllable-density constraints enforced in every prompt. Specialist subject areas render notation natively: KaTeX for mathematics, physics, and chemistry; ABC and tablature for music; SMILES for molecular structures; IPA for linguistics; case law blocks for law; and Mermaid diagrams for engineering and computer science.

Quality Controls

Learning Whistle operates a Human-in-the-Loop editorial process for all catalog content:

  • Every seeded path is reviewed by the editorial team before entering the public catalog
  • Flesch-Kincaid scores are validated against dial-position targets during the QA process
  • All OG preview images are individually reviewed for accuracy and quality
  • AI content disclaimers are shown on every station — readers always know what they are reading

After every passed quiz, learners are invited to rate the station and leave an optional comment. Ratings feed directly into path quality scores, surfacing the strongest content and flagging anything that needs attention. Standard paths are generated by Gemini Flash Lite; Premium Learning Paths use Gemini Pro Quality for greater depth and rigour.

Products

Learning Paths are our flagship product and anchor the entire Learning Whistle experience. Type any topic and get a complete 15-station path at the reading level you choose, each station roughly five minutes and ending in a quiz. Over 1,600 paths are published and free to browse without an account at the catalog.

Standard Learning Paths can be consumed in one of two ways: a limited-access tier at no cost, or a subscription tier with expanded daily access.

Premium Learning Paths use our most advanced technology and are suited to applications that require source citations drawn from validated, pre-vetted trusted sources. A multi-stage retrieval and verification pipeline gathers material from open-access academic and reference collections, ranks it for relevance, and cites it inline. Premium generation is purchased with Gold Tickets and does not require a subscription.

A wide variety of additional Gold Ticket products are under consideration for future release phases — spanning classroom and homeschool curriculum tools, exam and certification prep, corporate learning and development, tutoring, and content-creator research.

Stage: the platform is live in production and open to the public. Standard and Premium Learning Paths are both shipping today; the subscription tier is in active development. Browse the catalog to read any published path end to end, or see our methodology for how paths are generated and quality-checked.

Team

Learning Whistle is founded, designed, and engineered by a small team of passionate technologists and strong education advocates.

The team brings more than three decades in enterprise infrastructure, collaboration and data center architecture, virtualization, and applied AI — experience built in senior technical consulting, designing and delivering large-scale systems for enterprise organizations, where reliability, security, and cost discipline are requirements rather than aspirations.

Learning Whistle applies that systems-engineering discipline to education technology. The platform runs with production-grade reliability, cost governance, and automated quality controls — the standards expected of enterprise infrastructure — rather than as a prototype.
